La Sardina

This was originally posted on my Tumblr.

I’ve finally decided on a name: Aglaia. I think it’s a fit name for my La Sardina. (i’m not even going to bother explaining why I like naming my things) I realized I haven’t really talked about it so I decided to write a post.

I got my La Sardina for my 17th birthday last September. Of course, my parents didn’t really know what I wanted (like always haha) so I got to buy what I wanted and I chose this.

The La Sardina is a 35mm wide angle camera. It’s name was derived the way it is because the camera’s design was honed from a sardine can. This lomographic camera is super easy to use and comes in various styles. It has a multiple exposure feature as well. It comes with a flash and four filters. (sorry, I didn’t get to take a picture of those)

It also comes with a book that discusses the ten golden rules of lomography, La Sardina style.

Here are some of my shots using the camera:

I’m still experimenting with it. I hope I get better at this soon!
